Do you mean by permanent (I'm assuming) not a life policy that you have thru your employer that is gone once your job is gone?
If so there are many many agents out there (and on this site) that can provide you a plathora of options...if that isn't what you meant please expand on your question...
good to have you aboard!

Lori is right, there are many insurance companies which offer life policies. You can also contact the local life insurance agents. They can help in finding the suitable policy for you.

Hi Mary Jo , Allstate, Aetna, Farmers, New York Life, State Farm….. all are known to offer life policies. You either can contact their local agents or you can yourself visit their websites to find out about their policies.

Hello Mary Joe,
Welcome to the community.
By definition, Permanent life insurance is anything other than term.
Term life insurance covers a person for a "term" of 1 year, as in Yearly or Annually Renewable Term (YRT or ART). There is also various 5, 10, 15, 20, and even 30-year level term products. Some time back, AIG introduced a dynamic level term policy with a Return Of Premium (ROP) rider. This feature provides a guaranteed return of all premiums paid (no interest) if/when you are still alive when the term expires.
Permanent coverage is designed to provide a benefit to someone when you die - no matter when that might be. These are usually of the whole and universal life variety.
Oh, begging your pardon; I don't mean to step on Sharon's toes or let the wind out of her sails (no pun intended) I would stay as far away from all of the companies she mentioned above, except possibly New York Life.
The company I would suggest you deal with in this matter depends on the product. If you'd like to chat about this further, I would be more than happy to help you.
In situations like this; if I help steer you down the right path now, I won't have to investigate the agent who tries to rip you off later on.
