So you don't have to pay all yours or your childrens medical need....who can afford a stay in the hospital?

You should care for a health plan unless you are wealthy enough to pay the medical bills out_of_pocket.

Well it seems that the health care cost is the worst victim of inflation. The medical costs have increased many folds over the last decade. In such scenario only a health care plan can keep you covered form the health care expenses.

However, the hike in the cost is quite reflected in the premium rates as well. Individual policies are pretty expensive and the rate remained beyond the reach of many. Hence, group health policies, offered by the employer, remain as the sole source of medical protection for the workers.

health insurance provides you with subsidies for your medical expenses. they are very important, especially when some unexpected accident happens. not many people will be able to pay for a few hospital stays out of their own pocket. just one stay in the hospital burns a hole in your pocket.
