Difference between Co-insurance and Co-payment ?

Co-insurance is expressed in terms of percentage and Co-pay as a definite dollar amount.

Is this the only or major difference between the two ??

Well, they are more or less the same. Co-insurance (Co payment) is the percentage of the cost the insured agrees to share with the insurer, applies more generally to the health insurance.

good morning pramod1975 and welcome to the forum. These are usually a very minimal amount, my copay on medicines and doctors visits is $20 but when I had a major surgery my copay to the hospital was on $14, don't know why, I pay what I get billed and only question it if there is reason too.
