You may make your payment through your agent & he needs to forward a request for your SR-22 certificate the central office. Your certificate will be forwarded directly to the Secretary of state. Since you have inquired about the process, let me tell you that this entire process may take up to 30 days. Once it is accepted, you'll get a copy of the certificate from your carrier followed by a letter from the state office of the secretary.

Yeah, I'd quite agree to that & also would like to mention that you need to mention this SR-22 for about 36 months. In case it expires or gets canceled then it is the duty of the insurer to inform the Safety & Financial Responsibility division through a SR-26 cancellation note. Till the insurance filing is in place again the suspension would stand there. Hope this piece would help you as well, MagmaAlpsie

This community certainly has such vital pieces to submitted from all quarters!
But as far as the future suspensions are concerned, they could be rested once SR-22 is renewed 45 days prior. If your carrier is not provided with a renewal 15 days prior to the expiration they are to inform it to the Secretary of state. It is then that this suspension process begins.
All the best! CliveL

Ok, now we have a censorship issue.
Abusive languages should be avoided in the forums and in comments.
Mutual respect, appreciation and co-operation are expected from the community members.
We either enforce them or we don't.
Hey, when I click on the "latest post" under "Life Insurance-No Medical Exam" - I get - "No topics under that post or No Post Under That Topic", I actually forgot which, but why does that happen??
