I recently had an accident. My tahoe was totalled. How do I find out what it is worth to make sure the insurance doesn't cheat me.

There are several resourses...NADA, EDMUNDS, do not check the kelly blue book no company that I'm aware of uses it...

If you'd like provide ALL pertainent info...yr/make/model/mileage/ALL options/any prior unrepaired damages and I'll run a value for you.

yeah, they also might look at your local market to get a price, so check local classifieds, internet ads stuff like that to get an idea.

hi there,

I work as a licensed agent with state farm,, the best thing you can do is run a blue book online of the vehicle. Then do a search like on autotrader online and find as many vehicles close to the same options as yours for as high priced as you can. With these you can negoitate with the adjuster to pay you more for your vehice.

hope this helps

Hi segurosgonzalez, and welcome to the community...contact your claims dept, they do not use the kelley blue book when determining the acv of a totaled vehicle I assure you...maybe NADA, or CCC but NOT the blue book...
