This is nothing short of a lie...no other way to put it...before i can provide you with links to back this up, i need to know if this is a first or third party claim...and who told you this? an agent or an adjuster and with what company?

A high school student pulled out in front of a car that sideswiped him & pushed his car into the drivers corner front & side of my Jeep when I was stopped at a stop sign not even moving. The Kid that is at faults Insurence Rep. told me that they have to deal with repair center direct with payment.

What state are you in? and what company is this? This adjuster is either stupid or lying...they can make the payment to you and you only...ask them 'why'...there is no reason what so ever...again provide your state and i'll get you some laws or regulations to give this 'stupid' adjuster.. :roll:
