Right, you guys have correctly mentioned the perils covered under allied lines. It also includes increased cost of construction materials, demolition insurance, account receivable and so forth. Sounds to be a good thing for businesses. :)

Hi all, allied lines are special types of coverage available for special types of perils. These niche insurances can be bought as an endorsement with many standard property policies. Among the allied lines insurance the most prominent one is the earthquake insurance. It covers losses incurred during earthquake and volcanic eruptions. But it excludes damages due to fire, flood, explosion etc. Rupert
