Correct, we can't tell you who has a life insurance on you unless we get more information. Are you inquiring about the insurance company that you has the policy with?
What about asking the same question to family and friends?

I think your relatives would be the right people to give you a hint in this regard. If you have someone in mind you may as well check out with his workplace records or go through his/her financial files to be able to see if you'd struck upon any such document.
Otherwise you might need to pay for a policy-locator service. Now, which one do you think would suit you the best?
