I am a 21 year old from michigan. I was trying to make a left turn but was getting my vision blocked by some tall weeds. i pulled out and got hit by a large suburban. the ticket said failure to yeild causing an accident and apparently there were injuries. the officer that wrote the report even mentioned due to budget cuts the township hadnt cut the weeds. what should I do at this point? Should I contest the ticket? Can the other person sue me even though i have no money? Could they garnish my wages?

Do you have insurance? If so, you need to report the accident to them and left them deal with the issue. MI is a no-fault state for property damage. Laws are very unusual but I think the other person can only collect $200 or $300 for their loss.
