As soon as the carrier gets the paper work they will process it..

It's immediate. As soon as they receive the form, the beneficiary is changed.

However, when I hear something like this, it often isn't true. A new husband often lies to his spouse. The reality in many situations is that his life is easier if he keeps the person who sleeps with him happy, but his top priority is his kids.

It is a month my husband sent his policy that has changed to his insurance company . do you think that it is over a month to be process?

No, No way it takes that long...so either your husband just SAID he did it, OR it got lost in the mail one or the other...no way it takes 30day for a beneficary change to take affect.

WOW!! That's putting it to the point, isn't it? Yep..it's VERY possible this statement is true. However.....the KIDS should be the PRIMARY concern. In my 'experiences' with changing my Beneficiary (from EX to friend) it took just a few minutes. ..I actually went into the place, where I needed to go, to change it.
