whole life insurance and sleep apnea

My cousin bought her whole life insurance three
years ago. She recently went to see an ENT
who recommended her to have a sleep study
done. Will a diagnosis of sleep apnea affect her
insurance in anyway? If she goes to have the
sleep study done and be diagnosed with sleep
apnea, will she have to contact her life
insurance company? Thank you.
