my nissan sentra 2003 was totaled in a rear end collison, the price the adjuster gave was $7182. i have whiplash, soft tissue injuries, so does my husband, plus he is already disabled with cervical/ lumbar problems, and an anoxic head injury (15 years past). I filed the claim with the other insured plus that night i had notified my own insurance. when speaking with my insurance about checking with a lawyer, she said, we have lawyers to help you. my husband would rather hire a private personal injury lawyer. what do you think is the best way to go?

Mary, if your husband wants to hire an attorney to represent him with his injury he is free to do so. This is NOT the type of attorney your insurance company was refering to I assure you.

Your husbands prior injury will hurt rather than help him in this claim (re: amount of money)...

Have you heard of many complaints regarding the attorneys an insurance company provides?
