Hi everyone. I'm looking to purchase some flood insurance but I'm having trouble understanding what I need.
I was looking at this link (http://franchinoinsurance.com/new-jersey-nj-flood-insurance) flood insurance. If I purchase this for my business, do I also need to get business insurance too so that I'm covered?

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not really sure I understand your question, but you should keep in mind that "Flood insurance" only covers losses from a flood.

I don't know what type of business you are in, but you may need property, general liability, and other insurance products specifically taylored to your business operations.

Yes, if you own a business and want to be protected from loss, you will need other forms of insurance besides flood.

Hi!

You may come across some businesses who don't consider maintaining business insurance...but let me remind you of all those potential disasters that may destroy your business in case you're not careful about protecting it. Actually its now an obligation for you to have it, but first you need to understand that commercial policies are designed out of common packages.Thats why its up to the insurance experts (belonging to your carrier) to determine the proportion of your insurance needs for your business & offer you the exact policy. Flood insurance on the other hand would only protect the place from the devastating effects of flood waters. I'm sure you'd understand that..
