Just wanted to say Hi to the group!!
Been on the other boards in this family... ie: Credit and Debt forums mainly and sometimes the Mortgage forum... So now, I venture into the ampm insurance community... Thank your Goodnatured for getting me interested in taking a look into this forum!!!
I have alot of questions regarding insurance... I do have the basic. Car, house and health are all covered. But, I have wondered at times, if I have enough coverage on all three fronts.... I have been wondering about disability and life insurance lately, for the most part. My partner has MS. I was wondering would I do if his MS prevented him from working? How would we take care of his portion of the mortgage? What if I became disabled somehow? What would happen if one of use passed on? What would the other person do? I never thought much about this kind of stuff when I was younger. Now, I am hitting 40. I suppose you begin to wise up a little when you get older...
I am sure that over time all these questions will find answers to them via this forum.
Anyway, I am rambling... Thanks for letting me participate here...

Hi, and welcome to AMPM Insure, we don't bite. Well, most of us don't.
There are a handful of forums for asking insurance related questions, you're better off posting the question there, there are a lot of really helpful people here and they don't bite.

Thank you for the very kind words...
Hey, Goodnatured, I also appreciate your kind words... I try to help those in the credit forum... I try to pay back with all the help I have received re: this issue over the years.
Anyway, regarding insurance, I will break the questions down.
Someone said use the search function.. Are you referring to the "let me help you find it out" ?

sun,
If you hit the words community discussions on the tabs at the top of the page a whole different page appears, you have probably been there if you are here, just take a closer look at that page. It gives you a little brief under each of them to show you where you should be posting the questions.
If it is a questions about just getting started with something, like what you want to know about life and disability then go to "getting started" if you have claim in place with any type of insurance then go to "claims and payments" etc, etc. You can also go into them and read what some of the posters have posted and tag on to one of them if you feel that your question is similiar.
great to have you here, I see you in the credit forum as well, nice to see you come over here, welcome aboard the insurance forum.
