I do travel abroad a couple of times each year. Our insurance advisor has raised concerns about the possibilities of emergency evacuations. Do we need to add any emergency medical evacuation coverage?

Medicare will be of no use to us while we're traveling abroad. If Medicare doesn't work, it's supplements would be of no help either. We should never ignore the possibilities of a medical emergency.

It's the same with people who're visiting U.S. They would also not be able to use their domestic insurance towards covering medical evacuation.
