Why would you pay extra $$ for a replacement cost policy?
Well first It is great in the event you have to make a claim, because you get ACV-deductible-depreciation= your check, then after repairs are made you get back the depreciation, but becareful of all the fine print and loop holes. ASK your question BEFORE getting any policy.

Completely agree with you, caution must be observed and some research should be done, which is not too difficult since there are too many resource available on the web.
