Looking for a health insurance to purchase…
I am the lapsed member of VHI ( option B).

Any suggestions! Thanks in advance.

It is difficult to recommend a plan without knowing the overall situation and the kind of insurance coverage you need.

For me I left VHI for BUPA couple of years back because of its poor nature of dealings in terms of claims, renewal, administration etc. Whereas BUPA is much reliable, cheaper and efficient.

BUPA is expensive but if it saves your quality of life and perhaps even your life who counts the cost.

I have been a member for 40 years and my company paid for the first 30 years. But, I have had to split out for the last 10 years from my pension. It was not so easy but I am so glad I did. In an ideal world the NHS would provide all we need but it doesn't and obviously never will.

The true fact is that you can be out priced over the years not only because of inflation (as rates invariably increases), but also due to the age. As you get older you will be penalized. Still as long as I can afford they get my vote and my money.
