I am installing a new waterline as the older one has worn out. Will my homeowners policy provide the coverage? I heard that the interiors are covered by the home insurance policy :?:

If your property is damaged due to the waterline failure then your home policy may provide the coverage. Most homeowners policy cover almost all types of loss or damage but not the repair. Read the fine print of the policy about the exclusions.
In addition, you are covered for certain repaires provided you have the home warranty policy. But it will cost sizable premium for the repairing coverage of anything outside the actual dwelling. 8)

Your homeowners insurance policy will only cover for the potential ensuing water damage. The actual plumbing repair itself would not be covered under most homeowners policies.
