I am thinking about dropping my Aflac insurance it is nothing against them I would recommend the insurance to anyone if they were thinking about getting that type of insurance but right now I cant afford it financially how could I cancel it and not have them to pull it out of my payroll anymore after I cancel it because i have heard of people canceling it and still have the money taken out of their pay...

No one uses PRE-TAX money to pay for AFLAC or any other company's supplemental insurance benefits. To do so would cause those benefits to be taxable upon receipt.
The IRS rules referred to above have to do with enrollment/participation in a non-qualified deferred compensation benefit plan. Not the same thing as supplemental insurance benefits.

you can send your request to Aflac Policy Services, 1932 Wynnton Road, Columbus GA 31999 or fax to (888) 694-1265. Include policy #, what you want to cancel, signature, and date.

I called 800-992-3522 to cancel 2 policies and life insurance policies. Took maybe 15 minutes. They had to verify it was me and record the conversation. I called from work and did not have my policy numbers but was still able to do it.
If only the claims process was this easy...

My experience with AFLAC was awful!! Sometime ago, my ex-husband (husband at the time) hurt himself at work and couldn't work for a while. We filled out all of the paperwork provided by AFLAC. The doctor even sent x-rays to them. After waiting nearly 90 days for some kind of reply, AFLAC disapproved my ex's claim and said they would pay nothing. It was HELL trying to cancel our policy with them!! I sure don't recommend them!!

I just called the1-800-992-3522 number and cancelled my policy. Just be warned some of the coverage may not be renewed if you decide to renew at a later time. Be sure to check your bank statement if you have payroll deduction. If the funds are deducted after the policy has been closed...call the 800 number to get a refund. This process takes less than 5 minutes.
