Hi Smith,
What incidents are reported to CLUE? whether traffic ticket, breach of signals and red light camera incidents also reported to CLUE?
The CLUE report would contain only the information related to insurance claims. It, however, wouldn't have the traffic violation reported to it.
Clue stands for Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange and is accessible only by the owner of the property, insurer and lender. You can also request for the free clue report from ChoicePoint to check if all the information reported to it are accurate.
whether traffic ticket, breach of signals and red light camera incidents also reported to CLUE?
Have you got anything of such reported to your CLUE?
Thanks, Rupert

You are welcome buddy :) Happy to help :D
Remember that you can also receive your free CLUE report once in every 12 months. So you can check it to make sure that all the entries are correct in it.

Yes, you may obtain a free clue report. The CLUE report is only accident related incidents. Tickets are reported directly to the DMV and will show up on your MVR (motor vehicle record). Most companies report to choicepoint BUT some companies do not check that report such as Access General.

Any particular reason for that, Agent?
IMO CLUE report plays an important role in determining the premium rate for the policy holder, now if they don't consult this report how would they determine whether or not to cover this business. Kindly explain :?

Thanks for all the replies. I'm just curious to know whether there is any limit on the number of times an incident is reported to CLUE, subseuqent to which many of the insurance providers won't write policy as the risk involved is high

I can not see it being legal to report an accident more than one time to a clue report. If it was reported twice I would imagine it would have to be looked at as one single incident. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks, my question was whether the insurance providers will stop underwriting insurance to any person who has been reports so many number of times to CLUE for different incidents (not the same being reported twice)
