My Friend looking for advice on stepping into the P&C world, he currently have a growing Benefits Agency and want to hedge his bets and expand into P&C.
I own a small business. Someone told me I might be able to get a break on my taxes if I buy insurance for my employees??
I got one suggestion from my friend for this,
If you have fewer than 25 full-time employees, and cover at least half the cost of their insurance, you’re eligible for a tax break. If you have fewer than 10 full-time employees and average salaries of $25,000 or less is your firm eligible for the full credit. Today, that’s 35 percent of your contribution toward an employee’s insurance premium.
Hello,
My friend was denied short term disability insurance because he a deckhand/engineer. And how dangerous the job is. Does anyone have short term disability they have bought outside of their job? Like aflec and Combined?or?
How does one switch insurance companies? What is the procedure that is involved?
My friend is working for a start up where they are looking at different insurance companies but one of the owners wants to make sure that if they are not satisfied with the insurance company that they can change.
I have an interview with an allstate agency in my town in Canada this Weds. Just wondering what kinds of questions might be good to ask.
I've already been through a phone interview, online assessment, and background check. The agency owner said I just needed to come prepared with questions. What kinds of things should I be asking?
My auto insurance company told me that if I'm in an accident and I don't have enough auto insurance I can be sued and possibly lose my home. I never heard of anyone losing their home because of an auto accident. If I have a good driving record, how much insurance do I really need and can I really lose my home if I don't have enough? and how do you collect from someone who doesn't have any insurance? It seems stupid to carry uninsured insurance if I can sue someone for damages.
