I was in a Home Depot looking at ceramic tile and 4 boxes started to fall and I tried to stop 3 of those boxes from breaking my foot. The boxes hit my shin on my left leg and it caused a contusion. I have about $4,000.00 worth of medical bills and I needed an mri done but the company only had liability so I wasn't able to get the medical treatment I deserved. I had just received my cna license and I wasn't able to start working because of the injury. The adjuster wants to settle the case but I want to know what is a reasonable amount to ask for.

I have a small business.

When we started two years ago,we had an insurance agent come out and give us a quote for liabilty insurance (contractors policy). There are two owners in this business and that agent met with both of us. He quoted us a great price and we went with it.

A year later, the insurance company did an audit and "found out" that there were two owners (there has always been two owners, the agent met with us both). We get a bill a few months later for THOUSANDS of dollars in back pay.

Some of our business equipments have been stolen while some got damaged, but we've minimal damages caused to our financial records.
It was immediately reported to the police. Does business interruption insurance cover our lost profits? How do we file such claims?
