Hi to all our community members and guests,

If you are still a guest here is another reason for getting free member tag.

Participate in community discussions and earn money
Every time you participate in community discussion with a post the system will give you some money in dollars.

How and when can I encash the money?

Our forum members who have registered from the U.S. would be considered to receive payments for their posts. They would be entitled to such rewards if they satisfy our forum-posting guidelines.

Once you reach a minimum balance of $10 you can request us by a private message to send you the money by check or paypal (with your complete detail for the first payment).

This is to appreciate the community members who are spending time in building helping resources for the people in need. We will always share the revenue with our community members.

Your suggestions are welcome.

Thanks
Lakemen

Note: See other ways of earning money with communities.

P.S. forum payments are subject to review of forum posts conducted by our team of moderators following our TOS (forum posting guidelines).

Lori, did you you not wonder why your pay got so low after a while. I was quite surprised. In the beginning it was great. Sometimes I don't have a lot to say in posts cause I don't weant to fill up posts with a lot of meaningless words. I do think though some say the contest goes by the no. of posts some say how much money is earned in a month.I think the contest rules state how much money is earned in a month. If you click on the marothon on the right side of the page it shows who is ahead and what they have in ways of money and I noticed the one that has the most money is the one who is ahead not the one with the most posts. Check it out. I am quite dissapoimnted in the amount you get fopr posting but maybe it will be ok.I see there are other ways of earning on here has anyone tried any of those?

Honestly I didn't/don't pay too much attention to it...i notice what it says after i hit 'reply' like 'you were paid .11134132 for that post! ha ha...been paying attention now though! I sent lakemen a pm asking that he come to this thread...and clear up some things....

I see there are other ways of earning on here has anyone tried any of those

we need to ask ins maze about the blogging....

I'm just sure the contest is number of posts per month (excluding the pub)...i'll double check...think the money is inmaterial as far as the contest goes...i do not remember EVER reading anything that said that the pay per post decressed with tenure however! perhaps it's time for the admin. to update the rules etc.....

really? i think that the number of posts is all that counts on the leader board....lakemen?

Good suggestion, Lori!

We now have an "Insurance Blogging" blog that could have been designed by a world renowned expert on blogging, winner of the Pulitzer Prize, but instead, it was designed by me.

It can be found here: http://blogging.ampminsure.org

Blogging simply means EXTRA INCOME!!
Blogging simply means HELPING THE COMMUNITY GROW!!

When you visit this blog, please leave a "Comment". We want know whether or not this blog helps unless we hear from our Members.

If you would like to see this Insurance Community on Page #1 of Google,
let's blog!

We really need lakemen to come here and address all this stuff, he is the men with the answers, LOL.

I won the contest last month and really was not even paying attention, I was just visiting and contributing quality posts to where I thought it was relevant. I think this is a fair way to handle the contest.

As far as the points go for earning potential, I find that my posts are longer and more informational if I only post on those threads that I have something really interesting to say. I try to avoid the "I agree" or the posts that show that I am just don't have a clue, but that is just me. I find that some things interest me more than others, there are a lot of posts that I will go in and read and have no clue, and I try not to regurgitate what some one else has already said unless I have an added point to add to it.

Just my two cents. :D

YES, this is the correct way, but post count is the factor...

This is EXACTLY what you should be doing

I try not to regurgitate what some one else has already said unless I have an added point to add to it.

This is a good rule...it's always easy to tell those that are monetarily driven or those trying to boost their count...all the ''i agree'' .... or the regurgative posts (unless they are to clarify or outline answers) also show bad form, and can get someone blocked if it's non-sensical...you however my friend have great posts!

I think that you are right too goodnatured, a post can start out great, all the right questions are there, the advice is rolling along and then all of a sudden you feel like you are watching a rerun, the same answers are practically repeated by someone else. It is discouraging to the reader so imagine what it does to the poor person who comes here for help. I would advise to stay away from doing that and only post where you feel that your have something intelligent to say that would help solve the persons question or expand on what was said like you just said, sorry did not mean to regurgitate (had to look how to spell that) birds do that for there young don't they, LOL

Ok guys, I am pretty late here. Thanks for the PM Lori. :)

Firstly, let me clear the confusion about the AmPmMarathon. This is what was said at the commencement of the event,

We are truly glad to announce the commencement of a gala contest in terms of achieving the highest forum posts dollars earned by a single user from this month onwards. On the basis of this highly motivated individual achievements we would look forward to the winner, who would be endowed with an Ipod Shuffle from our side.

I am sure that part is answered now. :)

Moving on to the second issue - the more I post the less I earn. Why is that?

Sounds silly alright, but when the system was designed we did not see this coming. :) But I assure all of you that I will try and come up with something better in the near future. Why dont you guys try your hands with the other ways of earning with the community in the meantime. :D

Thanks,
Lakemen

I would try but I find the instructions for someone who has never blogged a bit sketchy. If we had some more instructions or guidance on this I would be glad to give the guide and bogging a chance. I was wanting to win an ipod for my daughter but at this rate of pay I am afraid there is no way. How many of you have won an ipod and has there been any other prizes or is this a new thing?

Hi hummingbird,

I would try but I find the instructions for someone who has never blogged a bit sketchy. If we had some more instructions or guidance on this I would be glad to give the guide and bogging a chance

Thanks, this is valuable information. This Blog Guide is designed for those who have never blogged. So would you please help us all:

(1) What parts of the blog are "sketchy"?
(2)You say you need "instructions" or "guidance" for the "instructions" - can you be a little more specific?

To Start a Blog you need to be concerned about two things ONLY:
(1) Creating a "Title" for your blog - please read instructions.
(2) PM Lakemen and ask for your blog to be uploaded to the server.
That's All! Initially!

We will all help you and you can buy your daughter the i-pod from your blog income.
