Did the ExamFX help? I want to know before I purchase it. I plan to study to become an agent. Thanks...

It is not easy to use the wording is terrible. I am using the low cost version.
It does not help. It does not provide real life examples.
Hate it.
Looking elsewhere.

Well, with all respect for those who think that Exam FX is not a good insurance licensing program to study. I have to say, and probably is noticeable in my writing that English is not my primary language. I pass my L&AH licenses at the first try. I don't believe that there is a silver bullet to have people pass their license at the first attempt. Some people think that it is going to be easy, and they just don't study hard enough. I would recommend Exam FX because the simulated exam is very similar to the actual test. At least here in Minnesota.

Course is extremely wordy and repetitive, it is very hard to absorb. It is supposed to be a 40 hour class but there is about 100 hours of material.

I really liked ExamFX. I passed the exam with an 81%. I read through all the material and took notes, watched all videos and passed the end-of-chapter quizzes. I didn't pass the guarantee exam because I scored a 78% and still did well on the real exam after having studied what I most of what I missed. I wouldn't say that means the gaurentee exam is much harder but it prepared me very well.
If you take the time and effort to really learn the material (as you should if you desire to be an agent) you should do well using the program.

My company sent me Examfx for my Life Health insurance certification and for Series 7. My thoughts...
For Life/Health the majority of it was good however not very deep. I noticed in several chapters discrepancies (they stated a different time for the blackout-period in their chapter compared to their quizzes/test). Overall it was alright not great. really had to memorize the material.
For Series 7...NOT GOOD. It is terrible for series 7 prep. Every chapter there is something wrong. With the chapter quizzes, if you get something wrong they do not explain why its wrong. If you click "review" which is suppose to bring you back to the relevant part of the chapter the question is asking about, the majority of the time it brings you to totally something different. I have screenshotted numerous questions like this.
with BOTH life/health and series 7....within the chapter they don't keep it consistent. They will be using one word to describe something or someone and then randomly change it to another with telling the reader that these two names are the same,

I studied using ExamFX for the Life & Health exam, I studied for 8 days based off of what the course directed me to do. I took the certificate on the 8th day, and the guarantee exam and then took the real test from prometric on the 9th day. I passed with flying colors the first time I took the exam, I honestly thought it was very helpful, and I recommend using the webinar (bob jones) is a great instructor (yes that is his name). You can also email him and ask for him to send you a recording of the webinar, and that way you can go at your own pace. He is wiling to help and give ample advice on how to pass it the first try. I believe one of the biggest problems people have with examfx is they keep taking the practice exams so they memorize the answers instead of understand the material. Bob said don't take them more than 5 times, so if you don't pass study your ass off and don't try and take it again until your confident you can get at least an 80%.

DON'T USE THEM. Do yourself a favor and Save your Money and TIME. I was told I could choose any course from their list for my Life and Health License. When I called the Department of Insurance they would not accept their Commercial Line course. This was a total waste of my precious time. When I called Examfx they just told me to take another course and that I should know which course to take and that they are not responsible for the courses I took...I don't know why that course was even offered to me in the first place...DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE and go to someone else...

Hello, i am currenlty looking to obtain my series 6&63 but I don't have sponsorship. I called examfx today and they stated they do sponsor individuals to clients to take exam. This is great as i have called multiple companies and everyone has said unless i was employed i can not be sponsored.
After reading these negative reviews i think i need to dig more. To make sure a rep isnt just trying to get me to buy the course.
Im seeing bad reviews but no alt options. Does anyone have any other suggested company?

The link below shows pass percentages for Schools who teach or offer online insurance courses. Numbers don't lie, page one is the all important Life & Heath pass ratios (most common course taken).
