Did the ExamFX help? I want to know before I purchase it. I plan to study to become an agent. Thanks...

It would not have been possible without the resources they provided
Actually, it would have been possible.
There are dozens of prelicensing education providers, most of whom have materials that are sufficient to help you obtain a passing score on the license exam.

I agree with most of the posts. The Exam Fx course was very boring and you can tell it was pieced together using cut & paste. I took an online mortgage course in 1997 and the Exam Fx course had the same look and feel. It would be great if I went back in time and took the course but it's 2013 and I want a course built with today's technology and not just an online book. Very disappointed I spent over $200 for the course.

It is horrible. I will never recommend them to anyone. I have taken the test six times and it is 100 questions. I cannot get a 70 to pass to get my certificate. I am no dummy and after six tries, this is ridiculous and they keep making you pay to extend the course. My first test was 69. The test jumps around and it has different answers for the same questions. This is horrible and they need to be banned.

You should take a course from a provider that teaches live classes, so you can talk to a live instructor. You obviously are not comprehending the material if you cannot get a 70 percent or better score.

Im in Texas and will be taking the p & c exam soon. I learn better with someone teaching me or even on the computer with audio reading the info for me. Could someone please recommend some online course? I was about to purchase the Exam FX advantage package light, but i am very worried about purchasing this now.

There are online courses available from AD Banker and other prelicensing providers, but you might do better to take a class with a live instructor.

I took the online TX P&C with License Coach. It was online but had a classroom feel to it. I got a 88 on my state exam and the company that hired me gave me a coupon code to get the course for a low price.

I'm using it now, and finding so many mistakes. they give you answers in the reading, then when tested, they tell you their own answers are wrong!! Ive flunked their online test twice because of it and i KNOW this material!! I'm pissed, its holding me up from taking the state exam.

I have read all of the blogs, above about Examfx from other states, are there any bloggers out there from the State of Washington? If so, share your experience(s) Here is mine. I've been testing their property and casualty online courses for 2 months now, I've got about 300 hours logged. I'm having similar experiences, following the content material and some of the content material shouldn't even be in there... I suspect that the Insurance schools who use Examfx, or Insurance companies who endorse them, and maybe a few of their candidates aren't experiencing what we are. I would like to provide more detail, but not on this web site. I think there needs to be online community meetings like this, regarding, being raked over by Examfx, and those Insurance schools that are helping them. As far as I know, Gmail, is not interfaced with any other social networks. And Gmail is safer. I use Google - Gmail, and most of my Canadian pals do too. I will start a blog through Google.com if I can't locate one on there website, about Examfx cheating us out of our investment dollars.
Posted: Fri Nov 15, 2013 09:29 pm Post Subject: Government: ATI fraudulently obtained student funds
Turns out examFX's parent company ATI had their accreditations pulled and got shut down in Florida, Oklahoma and Texas for unethical practices.
Now the federal government has sued ATI, alleging fraud to get money. The federal suit accuses ATI recruiters of using high-pressure tactics to recruit ex-convicts and homeless people as students, even though many of those people would never be able to get a job because of their criminal records or skills. Once the students enrolled in courses like business administration, welding and health care, the suit says ATI falsified student grades and attendance records to acquire more federal money than those students would have been entitled to.
The suit also accuses ATI of falsifying job placements.
ATI has 16 campuses in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona and Florida, and Dallas Nursing Institute in North Texas.
The federal government says ATI took in at least $236 million in federal grants and loans between 2005 and 2012. The suit does not say how much of that money was acquired fraudulently.
