Getting Motivated to Sell

by beatuplunchbox » Wed Apr 15, 2009 12:21 pm

What do you personally do to get motivated before you sell?

I personally like to listen to some of my favorite songs for a few minutes before I hit the phones or the road for appointments.

Another friend of mine goes to the gym every morning and works out right before he makes calls. I've noticed his energy level stays high throughout the day.

One agency I used to work for had morning motivational meetings to get agents fired up...

The question is what do you do and why is it effective?

Listening to a song sets you in a good mood before calling. But I hate such motivational meetings. Quite often such meetings would be directed towards analyzing the previous days' performances as well as individual performances. It would definitely spoil your mood. :)

I like your question.

Here i would like to promote my sells by making new schemes for attract new customers to increase my sell. I will give gifts to my clients for increase my sell.

Every time you need to be attractive & active. You must to give better service to your customers. If you give better service to your customer for long time it will effects hugely on your sell for life time.

Thanks & Regard.

Yup, what LiveLeads has said is absolutely correct. As people say necessity drives people. Its your requirements that motivate you to do things that you would have hated to do otherwise.

Keep the unpaid bills before you and you would get all the motivation you need. :)

Hi..

I'm sure at times it would also help pile up your sales if you'd leave a small note depicting your competitors' performances before your agents.
No sooner you've done this, you'd find them geared up! :)

I carry the pictures of my wife and kids with me at all times. Anytime I think about slowing down or giving up, I look at their pics. It really does the trick for me.

Friends..

Believe it or not.. I'd been a tele-marketer for a really short stint. I'd remember a day while our entire team was falling short of the target..I'd remember the anxious face of our supervisor...finally he asked us to stop calling...put ourselves on 'break' and get a round of the entire campus.

He was not joking...and he really insisted us to run...and get back fast...we all had to struggle to pull ourselves up...and then obey his orders....and finally we got back tired and lost....he was there waiting for us with a pleasant smile, as we resumed calling. Guys, you won't believe- within an hour we're up there...in terms of 'figures'. We were all geared up to do something different and without really knowing what we were doing! :)

Different people have different ways of motivating! Steven
