So I have recently heard of the bad news for everyone involved in Shenandoah life insurance company. So for the agents, my question is what is next?
Well I want you to know that there are a lot of options out there for you. You are going to have a lot of people promising you everything to get you to work with them. Before you make a decision to go work with another company who may or may not offer the same type of things you were used to at Shenandoah life consider my option. I have spoken to several agents that are being affected by their main carrier going out of biz. And it is a real tough situation for these agents. All of there renewals, there books of business...GONE. Here is my proposal. I have recently acquired a contract special for Shenandoah life agents so that the agents can get back on there feet. And what we were able to come up with was that for any new agent that gets started with us, we are going to be giving them a 115% contract with a full 12 month advance. and we are working with another agency on this that is actually going to be giving ALL of our agents regardless of if they worked with Shenandoah or not, free weekly leads, (as long as the agents produces 4 apps a month. So this is a win win for everyone. You will have a new A rated company to work with and you will get an un heard of contract along with free weekly leads.
Now I am not sure what will happen to the policy holders. But I do know that most people will want you to contact them and will need the coverage that they will most likely be losing. What we offer is Final Expense with the ability to take applications over the phone, if that is what you like or you can also do it face to face. we also have contracts for med sup and life and annuities. we are a full service IMO. I just don't understand why some IMO's have to post ad's on craigslist, or forums. They all say they are the best deal. I want training, leads, support. I want an IMO that has an 1800 phone number and answers the phone and has a staff of people to help me. I want an IMO with a lead source. Every IMO says they have the best deal and the highest contract.
If any of you want my business, then show me your ideas, systems, or lead system that will help me. Tell us how you are going to help us, besides getting us contracted.

I understand your frustration completely john. I was once in your situation. this is exactly why my partner and I decided to start our own thing. and our goal is to recruit based on all of those things. support, best contracts,training (if needed) we have teamed up with an agency that is providing leads at no cost for med sup and final expense as long as the agent submits 4 apps per month,also comming in may each agent will be set up with there own predictive dialer at no cost. we are basing our recruiting on licensed agents who want to earn more and get the support they need, we also know that most seasoned agents dont require much support, but we are still here if you need us. we are recruiting mostly based on keeping less for ourselves and giving more to our agents. we are like the gas station accross the street selling gas for 20 cents cheaper. we are also recruiting based on the idea of "free" leads. so 2 things you will not find anywhere else. free leads and predictive dialer and the highest contracts available. but if you happen to know of any other agencies offering these things, please let me know. good luck with everything and I hope to answer your questions further so shoot me an email. ps. if you have agencies that will be joining you with us, we have a special contract for this position as well. good luck either way. hope I was able to clear up some concerns and answer some indirect questions.

How many agents do you have ? How big is your staff that works with you. You said that you are an IMO Dtrmind right? What makes you an IMO? What kind of training do you offer? Why should be pick you as our IMO? What is your toll free phone number and website. I will take a look at you, if you are for real and not just a want to be or fake IMO.

i do agree with gary !! it's really a masterpiece and a good lesson for any newbie or wanna be agent as they can identify the real one and those who have 'hype' as there agenda. :wink:

to answer your questions... we are working with around 900 agents for now. we have a full staff to help support our agents. you can view our website at 123fg.com.we were able to get IMO contracts based on past performance and the number of agents we are working with. we will train you on anything you need thats kind of a broad question, isnt it? we are here to help. the reason you should pick us for your IMO is that we have everything you are looking for in terms of your questions. not to mention free leads which arent offered anywhere, and also 115% contracts for Final Expense. not to mention the fact that we pride ourselves on following through with our commitments. The reason we (my partner and I) started 3fg was because we have been where you sound like you are. what I mean by this is that you have been screwed over by IMO's making promisses and then not following through, or maybe you got stuck in a contract that you had a very hard time getting out of. or you were getting lower than street level contracts but didnt realise it until it was to late. or maybe you went with an IMO because they told you they would give you all of the support you would need then when you needed it you could never get them on the phone or for that matter even get them to return an email to answer your questions. I know where you are comming from and I understand why you are asking so many questions about us. you need to know who you are working "with" When we first started out as independant agents, all of these things happened to us. and it was a long drwan out issue and it made our jobs as sales people tougher than it needed to be. we have partnered up with other IMO's for FE Annuitties and term whole and UL products. we are also in the process of setting up a program for our agents with RM's which is a huge market for the right candidate. our objective is to recruit based on giving agents the highest contracts availablke, support and free leads. it is kind of a no brainer. work smarter not harder. we are only focused on licensed agents who know what this biz is all about. so basically we are trying to help agents earn more for the same things that they are already doing. this blog was set up for Shen agents because they now have no products to sell, and if they contact us, they will not have to look around and search different organizations while wasting time and losing money trying to find the company that will take care of them. feel free to email me with anyquestions and we can schedule a phone conference with my partner and I.

Its kind of funny. I did expect a bit of hostility when I posted this for ex shen agents, but I didnt think my integrity would be part of the discussion. if anyone is interested in working with us, please check our website before you make comments. that way you will have a little bit better of an understanding of where we are comming from. thanks for all of the feedback. it has been interesting and fun while a little exhausting trying to defend.
