I have considered hiring a telemarketer to beat up the phones to generate leads. Anyone ever do this? Did you hire a company or a private individual?
What was arrangement as far as cost?
Thanks,
Derek

I like to have my phone ring from a prospect rather than cold calling or chasing down internet leads.
I target small business owners with 0-6 employees with a specific prerecorded message about saving money on life or health insurance. When someone wants more information they press "1" and are directly transferred to any phone number I want or they can press "2" and be removed from the list.
Now, not everyone that presses "1" is excited to speak with me, but around 25% end up being very good leads. How much could You make with 25 or more good leads a week?

I have used telemarketing quite a bit and have tried both paying hourly (with bonuses) and commission only. The telemarketer that worked on commission only set me much better appointments, due to the fact that they didn't want to waste my time. When I paid hourly with bonuses...it seemed I got more erroneous appointments.

I've worked for agent for a few weeks now, so I'm still kind of new at this, I call leads that the agent bought and set appointments or leave messages and the people I have called are happy that they aren't being called by a telemarketer especially one that can barely speak english. I don't do any cold calling , since it's a pain with the do not call list. I work directly with the agent so if I get someone who is interested, I can transfer the call to the agent or set an appointment right then. Works great for both of us since I am learning the business and in the process of getting my license. As was stated in another post if you use a telemarketer, talk to the one who will be making your calls, and make sure they can speak understandable english. Myself if one calls me and I can't understand them I hang up.

You can hire a telemarketer here fiverr.com/users/bhebugs86/gigs/be-your-super-telemarketer-for-1-hour--2
for only $5 per hour. Isn't it great? You can even leave a feedback.

Erase the space between the "hour-" and "-2" and it will direct you to the page. It's a gig from fiverr.
