What's under your desk just now?

I have a rather ugly rug, a plastic box, and all 8 Chobits manga volumes. There's also some sunflower seed shells, my shoes, the computer itself, and some DVDs. A handful of folders, maps for a BYOND project, programming notes, concept art and the trap-door that leads to where "it" lives.

Well, no trap door but I can dream can't I?

So tell me, whats under your, probably more tidy than mine, desk?

Oh, Lori do you have a photo of that Wired Warrior thing? I'm getting mixed results on my searches but I'm thinking that it's an internet router. Send a photo and I'll see what I can figger it out.

NO but I'll take one and see if i can figure out how to post it here ....that my dear Quenlin will be the problem....(lori+computer=not so good)...why you want it? you can have it son, really, I have no understanding thus no use of it...I'll try later to get a pic...it's really in two connected parts, that 'pivots' (i can't say that word without remembering that 'friends' episode where ross says that about a million times!--sorry off track) one side has clock etc, and other has four ports i guess they are called to plug stuff in and a light that i assume would be red when connected..other side of it also has some kind of computer connection cause it has that sign you know that looks kind of like a flower......it's about a third the size of this box (when your first click post reply) ...ok i got a magifying glass to read instructions (on top of my contacts and glasses this is really small print)
says things like this, (re key functions) ....oh wait never mind at the top it says, ''instruction manual for T425 US hub with calculator" then here's other stuff...4 ports for usb output-clock, alarm, calender, birthday reminder, count down timer, temp, chef-d'oeuvre ring, USB hub, LCD with backlight...there you go...now do you know what it is and do you want it?

Nah, you can keep it.

I'm guessing it's a digital calender with a thermostat, nothing all that major but it's useful if you get it set up. Makes a nice accessory for your desk. I have one kind of like that, but those little nickel-sized batteries are a royal pain.

If it looks like a regular box with none of those, it probably opens up, try finding a switch or a catch on it.

Erb,
I used to have miniature Shnauzers. My female that we had about 11 years ,went blind .One night my son came in through our laundry oom door ,which goes directly outside. She must have slipped past him cause she was gone the next morning. We never found her. I wanted another .But years later my hubby brings home this GIANT Shnauzer! She is going on 5 months and weighs in the neighborhood of 50 lbs already. She is solid blank and a handful. She has already dragged me down a hill and I feel on my behind and hurt my tail bone. She is so strong I cannot handle her anymore on a leash.

That is probably good if you have a lot of wiring under there, LOL.

LOL, hummingbird, do I detect a little sarcasm there?

Big difference between the small ones and the big ones, huh, I have only had the little ones. I had two at one time but my husband came home late one night, left the one out, the younger one and he was hit on the road, broke my heart when I called and called for him and he never came, I found him in the middle of the road. I was mad at my husband for weeks, he bought me another pup and some body stole him. So I just had the old man left.
