Can I lose my insurance agent license if I get charge with a felony for something I did over 2 years ago but was just discovered by a former employer?

Charged or CONVICTED? There is a difference. And it has nothing to do with your employer, it has everything to do with the state.
When were you licensed?
The federal law makes it a federal felony worth up to 10 years in prison and a $50,000 to be employed in the insurance industry with any of a specific set of felony CONVICTIONS. If you were only charged with a crime, but never convicted -- or convicted as a misdemeanor -- that is different, but failure to disclose even a misdemeanor conviction to the state that issued your license can result in a revocation.
