ExamFx offer online course for the pre-licensing exam. You can take their online tests to build your confidence . However, IMO its more important that you learn the course material by heart, otherwise you might find the money not well spent.

By the way, for which line are you planning to use it, P&C or L&H?

ExamFx online training is said to include rich multimedia protocol and self-assessment programs. They stress upon the fact that they offer easy-to-follow text materials. If they live up to it, then it would offer you ample time to read, understand and analyze what you're being taught. The latest updates in web technologies would help you in the following ways-

* Their website shows you how they'd provide you with bulleted lists for introductions to spoken chapters.
* They have a text encoder which helps you to navigate in your suitable way
* They offer practical exam modules that may help you to face similar situations as you might come across in your licensing exam. Don't you think it could be a great package for all examinees?

ExamFX is nothing but an exam simulator. A bunch of theoretical "test" questions that's supposed to "teach" you information necessary to pass the state licensing examination. Good luck without real industry knowledge or ifr you're the kind of student that actually needs an instructor. Good luck if the software goes "poof" as they outsource their IT stuff...it'll take 3 days for someone to get back to you.

If you are looking for true online "instruction" plus an exam simulator, then ExamFX is NOT the way to go.

The problem that most people experience with exam simulators is that they learn the questions and the answers to those questions. If you reword the question in any way, guess what...wrong answer! Although taking a practice exam is never a bad idea, it should be completed only after you feel you have a strong understanding of the material.

Depending on your luck, you may get enough questions you recognize and pass the exam. However, without the appropriate knowledge base you may very well fail in the real world. Passing the exam is one thing; understanding the material is totally different.

You should focus on learning everything in depth as much as possible, and you will find that the exam is not difficult to pass. After all...all of us passed it!

That is SOOOOOO right. We get a lot of business from people who have purchased exam simulators and a dictionary, put in their time, taken the exam and failed miserably. When I find out how they studied, it's commonly because they were memorizing the exam simulator questions and (somehow) thinking that they were the state's test questions.

We deal in 30+ states, and not one of them gives us the examination test bank of questions. Most providers guess as to how the examination is worded, which is the wrong approach, as that exhibits itself in the practice exams. Unless a provider knows the gist and the phraseology of the test questions- how can that provider adequately prepare a student?

I could go on for weeks, but I think I have to go and kill my 17 year old. I just heard a crash and then her "oh crap" squeal (which sounds a lot like air squealing out of a balloon when you pinch the opening to let the air escape).

Since you are saying that ExamFX isn't the way to go, what do you recommend? My state doesn't allow anyone to take the exam unless they have a certificate of taking the class. What is the best program I can take to actually learn this stuff?
Thanks.

Again...it depends on the state. What state are you in?
