I have 2 misdemeanors on my record in Ohio. One is 2 years old and another is 4 years old. Will this prevent me from getting a state insurance license?

Hi, my name is Mia and I'm an independent agent at Liveops. We are currently in need of insurance agents who would like the opportunity to work at home. Rates are very good, you can even make $30/hour.
From personal experience, It's very convenient for me to be able to work at home. I am a full time student at The University of Texas at San Antonio and work part-time with Liveops. I get to stay home with my friends & family compared to when I was working as an overnight nanny for 13 hours 4-5x a week. And who doesn't like making money and not have to wake up to drive somewhere? It's phenomenal. For more information, please email me at perezmia91@yahoo.com
Thank you!
Mia

$30/hr? On a typical life insurance appointment, I make about $150-$300/hr.

I've never seen the UofT in San Antonio. I think the university in Austin is a very beautiful campus. I've seen it while working for law firms there.

I had a DUI over 5 yes ago and it happened in Arkansas. I have since moved to Florida and want to pursue a career in the insurance field primarily selling auto insurance. Will my past conviction prevent my chances?

Probably not. But you must disclose the conviction on your license application. Failure to disclose will result in NO LICENSE.

I was convicted of petty disorderly person in NJ in 2009. NJ does not classify crimes as felonies or misdemeanors so I am unsure of what is will be considered in CA. I recieved a $414 fine which I paid. My record was expunged and according to NJ expungement laws I do not have to disclose my record and can legally answer No to questions about prior arrests and convictions. My attorney advised me of the same. I passed my insurance exam and applied for my license. I answered No to the questions about prior convictions.
My application is now being reviewed by the background department and I received a 45 day letter saying they need more time to review my applications. What do you think will happen?

Will a contributing to a minor misdemeanor, and a simple possesion misdemeanor, keep me from obtaining an insurance producer license in tennessee? If the person was given a diversion and the charges will be dismissed after his probation period?

It's up to the commissioner of insurance to tell you the answer.
