Why would you only need the insurance for one day? Are you in the catering business? I have never heard of only getting insurance for one day. Can one purchase catering insurance for one day?

Or try 1-877-601-6678 , MostChoice. goodnatured, what about if just working on a single event or doing it very rarely, that way it would be better to just buy insurance for each event.

Liz, are you also the original poster of this thread? If your friend is doing the catering, then your friend needs insurance, not you.

Do you need liability coverage for a hall you are renting or something like that? That would not be catering insurance, check with your homeowner's insurance agent.

Alice-in-webland, did you read the original post before replying?

I am promoting a one day - no admission price craft show. The event will be held in a shopping plaza parking lot . No food or beverages{including alcohol will be sold. Exhibitors will pay a fee for aech booth- expected attendance around 500 people. No employees or rental equipment All booths wiil provide a canopy for their merchandise. What sort of coverage do I need?

If you are doing it at a shopping plaza, are you renting the space from the shopping center? If so, shouldn't they provide the insurance?
