What do you mean by 'standard' denial? there has to be a specific reason they denied the claim. Also need to know the state you are in try and find out the statute of limitations on bad faith claims.

Hi ...over here I'd request you to carefully go through your policy papers that you'd signed while applying for the insurance! Once you'd go through the individual clauses would you be able to know of any exclusions that you may have overlooked!

My friend, would you kindly state what this denial letter had in it!

Standard denials should vary as per their definitions owing to the organization's capital strength & consumer volume...isn't it! NickieB

Insurer knows who starte fire,(i'm sure you meant to type 'insured' rather than insurer) claimmore tha owned, profitte from claim an so on ect i requeted investigtion,I'm sure they investigated it plenty insurance companies rarely deny claims period and even rarer for fraud, I assure you they had all their ducks in a row before they did this... fire chief ruled accident so did private investigation.at my request. thanks for resonds.....

Sorry OP but clearly you were denied based on fraud...The insurance company had reason to believe you had something to do with setting the fire, and that you attempted to profit from the claim, and further claimed items lost or damaged that you didn't own...Frankly I think you should probably count your lucky stars that criminal charges were not filed (which is a felony by the way)...If I've read this post wrong please clarify (because your words have letters missing etc)...But that looks to be the gest of it to me. My advise, again get on the ground and thank the Good Lord you're not in jail, learn a lesson from this, and let it go.

Limitation in MI for breach of contract is 6 years. It's well past that. You were to ill to do anything for 7 years?
