Is it possible to shift the claim-date now?

hi..me too with state disability insurance from Cali...jus went through your thread the other day..have to ask..if its possible for me to shift the date of my claim...rest assured that its a valid one! Whats daily benefit & maximum benefit in this regard?

No, I don't think that the commencement of the same can be changed. As depicts your daily benefits, I'd say they are counted as the daily worth of your entire week's benefit. On the other hand the upper limit of your benefits (the maximum limits) would be = (benefit/weekX52). Yeah you'd certainly need to pay for the as SDI taxes as the norms suggest. Thats it!

For that matter, if you have opted for the SDI coverage, the upper limit of the benefit would be 39 times the worth per week. Good luck :) McKenzieJ

Hi!

The shift of the base period that you're talking about is not to be changed as a general rule. But see, you do have the option of contacting the SDI office at any point of time when you don't have enough of base period wages due to your disability & under circumstances wherein you'd still remain disabled.

For a particular quarter of the base period if you see that you're not left with sufficient base-period wages, & at the same time if you are actively trying to get a job for a period of 60 days or above, then you may have the option of replacing wages paid for the quarters before it.
