I wrote an article off the top of my head on biggest mistakes insurance agents make, but I'd really love some additions. I'm sure there's lots more...post some and I'll add them to the blog!

I'd add to the list....Don't ever push sell
Make sure that you understand the need of the customer before offering him/her the plan. Don't sell a policy only to get bigger commission on it, like- if term life plan would satisfy the need of the client, don't sell a whole life plan just because it'd fetch you fatter commission.
Stick to the client's need and not yours. You would generate more business in the future.

Love the blog. Isn't it funny how always doing the right thing for a customer works out to building a successful business? Anyway, that post is spot on. Keep up the good work.
