Yes. I will give you cash if you are willing to make me the irrevocable beneficiary on your paid up life insurance policy.

It's not so much being named beneficiary, but rather having ownership relinquished to them, and they will change beneficiary to themselves. This is essentially the process used by life selttlement and viatical companies.
Alternativels there are some companies that will agree to pay you money if you agree to allow them to purchase life insurance on you. This is commonly referred to as Stranger Originated Life Insurance or STOLI, and is commonly loathed by insurance industry.
