are you asking do you qualify for a discount? most companies will give you a claim free and safe driver discount.

I've heard about the safe driver discount. Can you throw some more light into the free claim thing that you're pointing at?

depends on the company, but usually it's two separate discounts... safe driver meaning clean driving record (no speeding tickets, etc) claim free would be the driver has not had any claims against him is say 3-5 years.
