Hello, I am currently finishing up my final year of my Bachelors in Business Management. I want to go into insurance and I was wondering what things I should be doing right now that would benefit me for when I finish college next year. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I recommend you use social media, blogging, facebook, etc. to build a base of people who you can communicate with.

First you need to decide that what do you want to become. Do you wish to work as an employee or as an independent agent?
Insurance field is very vast. Consult and take advice from people belonging to the same field. They will guide you in a better way.

AM Best, one of the companies that rates insurance companies recently reported that employment in the insurance industry has declined in all lines of insurance EXCEPT reinsurance. You may want to go in that direction.
