Hi Modelkrb,

Who Do Think Offers The Best Health Insurance For Single Individuals Such As Myself.

Are you looking for policies with cheaper rates only? Or is it that you're looking for policies that offer cheap rates with a good settlement history?

It depends on where you live, but United Healthcare and American Community are usually fairly competitive.

Hi Modelkrb,

The decision for best policy would depend upon your requirements too.

What medical issues would you need the health policy to cover?

Also, would it be an individual policy or you want it to cover the family?

Cinergy offers very limited benefit health insurance and for that reason you may wish to find a policy with wider range of coverage.

Hi Modelkrb,

is aetna good.

Last year I was in Chicago to see a friend who was being diagnosed with cancer. The area of attention was his 'throat' and I stood by him when the needle biopsy was done. Believe it or not, Aetna were prompt enough to pay for all the associated medical tests.

But as you know, whoever the service provider is, the premium rate would depend on a number of factors-

Do you have a pre-existing condition ?
Do you smoke too often?

Okay Model, high cholesterol would definitely make the health insurance costs soar for you. But, have you tried finding an insurer with disease management program?

Some insurers offer disease management program for people with high cholesterol and if you participate in those you may enjoy a graded premium rate, which might not match with the rate of a normal healthy person but would definitely be better than what you are asked to pay now.

I was wondering.... isn't group health insurance an option for you at your workplace?

Hi jeorge..

Is this disease management program meant for people with high cholesterol only? Do they offer it to people who're suffering from other diseases?
It could be really beneficial for all of us.
