I am changing careers and getting ready to take the property,casualty,surety and marine claims adjusters classes. Do you know which insurance companies that like to hire newcomers to the industry. Also what can I expect my first year and what can I expect with pay as well

Most insurance companies will hire newcomers if they have the requisite knowledge and has obtained an adjustor's license from the state department. Depending on the fact that you are looking to be a staff adjuster, your pay should be somewhere between $26,000 to and $34,000. An experienced adjuster can easily rake in a neat $70,000 or more.
