Networking leads are my favorites, because these are people that are coming to me because they believe in me and they trust me. Unfortunately, they are slower growth. When people talk to me, they trust me and believe in my industry knowledge and experience.

I am in AmSpirit, an Ohio-based weekly networking organization. Each chapter has no more than one person in each business category, and we try to generate leads for each other. I paticipate in a couple of other groups that are similar but do not require a certain number of leads.

I am also vice president of our local business association. This gives me visibility within the organization, so people in the group are more likely to come to me themselves; and it gives me extra credibility when I can list that title at the bottom of my emails. Plus, I get first crack at the association's own insurance needs.

Building a website is a good way to start generating your own leads, but it will be a slow process. You have to learn SEO or hire outside help. Put your website on everything and circulate it. Magnets for your vehicle, High School sports programs, anything and everything.

To generate leads right now you a have a few options:
Internet Leads
Telemarketing

Competing with 6 or more other agents on internet leads is a nightmare.

We have a system where your phone rings with a prospect on the other end.

That's certainly so....but in most cases the leads generated by the lead generating companies aren't unique & you're left with no choice but to grab it before the other agents too start calling that prospect. This often pisses the client off. And, therefore, reduces the conversion rate. I like the idea of building network and mouth-to-moth advertisement.

Liveleads, what's the conversion rate with your leads?

Read through our site to get a grasp of what we do.

Out of 100 Transfers you will get around 25 good leads. The average agent closes 4-6 some close less some close more.

Crunch the numbers and you will find it's not hard to get a healthy ROI.

well, you are the best tool yourself.. all you need to succeed in this field is confidence on yourself..but keep in mind the thin line between confidence and over confidence..one can lead you to success..other can turn you the other way round

i agree with you tushar that confidence does matter but lead generation is really a skilled job.Need to look for it with every nook and corner for best options.

as far as net is concerned it will be really difficult to generate leads.Whether 5 yr child can be a lead from net???? No, but surely can be a lead when you personally visit their home and discuss with their parents.you get lots of input from them and thus business....

An email newsletter is a great tool to add to your arsenal. Inexpensive, easy, and best of all automated.

When you meet a new prospect, make sure to ask for their email address and it's ok to send them your monthly newsletter. Just make to keep it relevant.
