Well let me say this, that it is only being 'politically correct' to request permission to use a customers email address to send them something.

IMO this is being overly polite, and the minimum due courtesy is given by giving them the option to opt out of receiving further solicitations.

Well, It is a good site. But it looks like more of a discussion website. I don't think It will be a good idea to use it as a sales tool.

I've looked at insurancegossip and it was goody. I learned a couple of things from them. I've been looking at all of the insurance agent forums. I've learned more from forums then I do in any book.

insurancegossip is run by Mr Kurt T ( Site Admin). Its launched in the market somewhere between Jan-Feb 2007.

Main motto is increase the knowledge level of all the agent's and to have a 'coffee shop for insurance people' in the words of Mr. Kurt T.

Claim/Technical Question Education Chat section is one of the good section which is new in nature and really appreciable. But I suppose the approach is more agent centric as opposed to the customer centric which i suppose is the top priority here at ampminsure.
