Hi,
I guess generating leads through telemarketing has become tougher than ever before. Only products targeting specific economic segments will generate leads.
These could be your big time USPs apart from the regular seminars and promotional campaigns!
Seminars do offer you opportunities to explain your product/service features with graphical representations. I think it affects your conversion ratio too!

Hi wandering-agent,
This often pisses the client off.
Yes, if we're calling them with offers regarding products/services for which they don't have any need then it's more likely that they'd be pissed off. But, would you please clarify how you'd define a 'unique' lead?

Diversify!
I have software for prospecting AND STILL I like:
SEO
Blogs
Constant Contact - email blasts
Network Groups
 :o Plus of course [url removed].. come on I had to sneak it in there. (I offer extended free trial to forum members - PM me)
I tell my agent customers who are having success with my software "Great, but what else you doing?"
One fishing pole -or- compared to 3 lines, crab traps, minnow nets, fish and finders..etc
