Should I pay if our tree causes damage?

The winds are not behaving properly these days, rather going wild often. I’m worried about the big pine tree in front of our gate. OUr neighbor parks his car just beneath it. Would I be liable if the tree causes any damage to the car? Or, would my homeowners policy pay it?

I had a break and enter the night before I moved, and the insurance company acted in bad faith My claim was delayed for 6 month and was never worked on unless I called or left messages. My husband was restarting a car restoration business and couldn't do much because many of his tools were stolen. We lost thousands in lost revenue and were told we had to sub mit our receipts to get 100 percent coverage by April 1st. The B and E happened in October of last year. They didn't issue the check until way past the deadline to submit receipts because they delayed it so long.

The sewage pipe in my condo backed up and the black water came as high as 10th floor, but damaged my apartment the most as i live on the first floor.
i do not have HO-6 and condo association tells me that they are not responsible for any damage done to my apartment. I looked through our condo docs and did not find anything that says that I am responsible when Common Element(sewage pipe in this case) is at fault,
it only said that if it is due to my negligence i am at fault.
Is there any recourse?

I inherited my mother's house after her death in October 2012. I completed all the necessary legal proceedings and I am the current owner of the house. I had affairs to settle with my place of employment which is located in another country. I traveled at the end of November and returned in May 2013. However, my niece and her family lived on the property until the middle of March of 2013. In addition, my uncle which is my next door neighbor was at the house daily.

When can I cancel my homeowners insurance if am not satisfied with the company? The premiums are paid directly by my mortgage company and the insurance provider doesn’t tell me when they raise the premiums until the policy is paid in full. Is there any timeframe within which I should cancel after the commencement of the policy?

i live in Illinois, my neighbor had a roofer last year replace his roof, we were told that the house roof was done on Friday and they would be back on Saturday only to do the garage. Saturday afternoon we moved our cars back into our driveway after cleaning up all the nails and other roofing first. The roofer was here working on the garage and said nothing about going back up on the house roof. Later that day i had let the dog out and looked into the drive, both cars were covered with roofing debris, rocks, nail pieces, etc.

My car was broken into last night. We don't currently have insurance on it, but we do have homeowners. Can we still claim the stolen items on our homeowners? I don't want to get into trouble obviously. Any help would be appreciated. I don't know if it helps but I'm in Michigan.

Roofing Company Issue

My father had hail damage on his house. A door to door roofing salesman came to see him and told him he was from Colorado and gave him his business card which did not have an address. He gave dad an estimate of $5800 and then dad had his insurance adjustor come out and do an estimate. His insurance company cut him a check for $2700 which dad has not given to the roofing company yet. I was concerned because I am his caregiver and he has dementia. I checked out the company with the Better Business Bureau and they are not located in Colorado but rather Minnesota and have an "F" rating.
