Since this Monday I’ve been observing some malfunction in my AC. It sounds too much. Just wondering if my homeowners insurance would cover for any damages it brings. Thanks in advance.

I’ve a question. Actually, I’m a bit nervous. I’ve just moved into a house as a renter. My landlord lives in the adjacent room and it has no locking system from my end. I work at night so the house remains empty for the whole night. I’m a bit doubtful about the landlord. Should I get renters insurance? Would it help if any of my belongings gets stolen?

I have heard that this is optional. Even I know some people who have and also haven’t opted to get it. I’m closing on a home pretty soon and just wanted to know if I should pay the required and get it. It costs around $950Should I get owners title insurance?

I had a small crack in the lower portion of my door and my girlfriend’s younger cousin stuck his finger underneath and ripped off a good amount of the door material and now it looks terrible. I asked the cousin’s parents to pay for the damages but they refused. I convey the thing to my insurance carrier and they asked me to report this to the police. They said that they are going to take care of all the charges and also said that if they pay for the damages they have to go after the said cousin or his parents. I’m just curious what will happen if I file the report and and they go after them.

Recently my dog bit a friend of mine and he is being treated for the bite. He is out of work because of the treatment for the bite. I've filed a claim with my carrier. I am not sure how he gets compensated for his lost wages.

Is there any insurance available for natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornados, floods and fires? WE live in Miami and we have already had enough of it. Please help!

PLEASE HELP!!! I own a house outright. There is no mortgage lender on the property. We are in the process of selling it but while it was vacant, someone broke in and vandalized the property and stole everything - kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, countertops, flooring, interior doors, windows - EVERYTHING! I am selling the property "as is" and am selling it at a reduced cost because of the damage. Can I still file an insurance claim while I am in the process of selling the house? Is it okay not to use the insurance money to fix it up? Will I get myself into legal trouble?

We live in a rented house along with my wife and three kids. Recently, we had a pipe break. What will the insurance company do with it? Or, is it me who should throw it away?

My 6 year old son who is suffering from autism threw one of his toys in anger, which hit and completely smashed the screen of our 37 inches plasma TV. I was in the room and I know that he didn’t do it intentionally. I own a large, 4 1/2 foot by 4 foot vintage beveled 3-dimensional acrylic letter "R" from an old Red Owl store. The thing was wiped off a building about 30 years ago. The thing was in excellent condition- bright color, no cracks, intact steel frame, and sturdy. I bought it a month ago to use as an art-piece in our house and kept it in my garage while remodeling work was taking place. I kept it in a safe spot and it was easily visible from any direction.
