I want to thank all those who helped with "My son doesn't live with me", "Canceling a policy" and "Is it just me". My saga is almost over, we have new policies with another company and have canceled our problem policies. We have fulfilled the letter of the law and notified Safeco with signed dated letters canceling the coverage effective the same date we got coverage elsewhere and I am on the way to the bank to ask them to keep Safeco from removing anymore funds.

Something like this would be my dream come true.

Safety issue

My 'Client's ( she is 41 years old) husband drives a Four-Wheeler WITHOUT a DL OR Insurance. Neither one of them where helmets. He can't get a DL because of DUI's. Anyway.........of course, I can't tell my 'Client' what to do, but, this is a REAL 'safety' issue for me ( for obvious reasons). I want my 'Client' to be safe. Anyone have any advice on what I can do? Should I inform the authorities, etc.?

When helping clients evaluate their financial situation and plans, I use this as part of my presentation. I explain how much there is to do, and how the adequate amount of life insurance (including final expenses, lost income, reduced social security, etc) can help protect the surviving loved ones. Maybe this will give someone a few points to use:

1. Contact Doctor
2. Contact Coroner
3. Contact Funeral Director
4. Contact Cemetery
5. Contact Clergy
6. Notify Relatives
7. Notify Friends
