Earthquake insurance is usually found as an endorsement to home insurance or even business insurance. This insurance provides protection for damages that occur due to an earthquake. Earthquake insurance is usually offered with a high amount of deductible and hence such insurance is really useful if an earthquake destroys your home completely instead of partially.

Would you need earthquake insurance if you have home insurance?

Many of you may be under the impression that your home owners insurance covers earthquake. But a lot of you may have a hard realization when you get to know that earthquake insurance needs to be purchased separately.
