We have several potential clients who purchase homes at auction and through bank REO. One hangup is that sometimes the property is still occupied with a previous tenant or previous owner. Does anyone have a market for this risk?? Properties are located primarily in CA.

Hi, I am in the process of dealing with a situation from a retail store. I stepped on one of their security devices with the pin about 1 inch going all the way int my big toe. I have had pain in that toe since then. Also saw a nerologist and he stated that I do have nerve damage. I have no feeling to touch in the area. Also a feeling like my toe is asleep. he said I may never get the feeling in my toe again. I am dealing with their insurance now. Any opinions on what I should be aware of.

I have only one employee and I am not required to carry worker's comp although I understand I am still liable for his health and injuries on the job.
If I purchase his health care are they still required to pay any claims (health or accident) if he is injured on the job, or will they say an on the job injury should be covered by workers comp and deny the claim.

I had the same insurance company from 2002-2006 then switched in 2007.

I just received a claim from work done in 2002.

My current company is "mostly" denying the claim and researching the rest. Can I take my claim to my prior insurance company and will they honor the claim?
