My current experience is assisting people drive proprietary leads to themselves. Rather than buying leads and investing in leads that are sold as many as 5x... Create them yourself.

Therefore, develop a website or partner with a firm that can assist you. Make sure that the site has a quoting engine and online enrollment option... Most of these engines range from $100 - $200 per month... (However, you can find them for less than $100 a month).

Once your site is up, invest in a local SEO rather than buying leads. For about the same investment, you will receive personal leads that you own. The more technology you infuse into your business, the more competitive you will be. Good luck.

I agree...leads from your own site are ideal. It's fairly easy to build your own site nowadays. I do my own seo and target my local area. It's actually fairly easy if you have basic computer knowledge.

hmmm I'm not an insurance agent. But I work for a insurance company on internet. According to me the best way to increase your sales is mouth to mouth publicity. This is the most effective method. You can also advertise in local magazines/newspapers. Display ads in public places like movie theaters, coffee shops, etc. If you want to expand your sales through internet; there is nothing better than having your own blog or website.

Client newsletters and brochures could be of much help to you.
They would help your prospect to compare your credibility with that of your competitors. Prospects would have a clear idea of your rates and discounts apart from your benefits. These could be your big time USPs apart from the regular seminars and promotional campaigns!

I agree with horizon, the best and one of the cheapest part of the advertising is mouth to mouth publicity.then surely you will achieve a good stance and number of people will be interested in your service if you have a good reputation with your existing clients.

Hey I think this one can also generate good leads. What you can do is Create an advt. with some attractive content & print leaflets. Distribute the leaflets in office/company canteens. But keep in mind; do not make any false commitment in your advt.

I use the website rosenthalfiles.com. It has a lot of tools for agents on the site. I also think that forums are a great tool to agents to talk with other agents. I love life ins selling mag and there are a couple of websites out there that will give you these mags for free. the life foundation has a lot of tools on their website also.

I think another great tool are books by the Million dollar round table.

Million dollar round table.

if you happen to visit their website there you will find so many ebooks and material to promote your business. but one suggestion that they should be available to any agent free of cost as so many can get advantage of it.
